Sweet Sleep

Where o where did you go???? After a very successful December of sleeping through the night we are back to at least once if not twice a night wakings. At least this time I KNOW it is not because he thinks he is going to eat, cause he doesn't. At the beginning of January I thought it had to be teeth, well 3 teeth came in 3 days about a week or more ago and no new ones since then. I am pretty certain 3 more are on the horizon so I am crossing my fingers that that is why he is waking up. Otherwise, well there is not otherwise, sleep training round 2 begins this week. We will actually be home all next weekend so he should get a good week of his own bed under his belt again.

Someone got into the crackers! And oops, spilled them all over! 10 second rule and we got them all back in the box :)

Someone also likes to open the drawers in the kitchen and get out the boxes of tea and dump them out! We don't have handles or knobs on our cabinets so we would have install the latches on all of them and well, it is just not worth it at the moment for only "hopefully" 2 more months or so of living here!

Here is Caden playing with Gigi's "pretties." He took all the fake candles out, turned them all on one by one and put them all back in the holder, one by one. He was so proud of his hard work!

Ash and I took Caden to get a haircut where X goes. He sat on my lap and was pretty much perfect the entire cut! I think Xavier and he have had about the same number of haircuts. So far X has one a month since October! The party in the front keeps growing but not so much in the back!

Pretty much from 7-7:30 every week night we watch Wheel of Fortune. If I do say so myself, I am pretty good at this game. Well I am good in the comfort of my living room, I would probably crumble on television! Xavier LOVES watching the wheel and all the colors. He will just stare at the tv, mesmerized!

A fun pic in his 2 piece pj's he got for Christmas. They are a "snug-fit" pajama and well, they sure fit him snugly! But they are 100% cotton which I think is better for his sensitive skin issues.

We get to see my good friend Jessica and family this weekend. Followed by my baby cousin turning 21!! I can seriously remember the moment I found out he was born, I was so excited waiting for that phone call. Looking back I am not sure if I was a blessing or a pest to my Aunt. Seeing as how I was only 10 years old at the time, I think I showed up on her doorstep everyday for who knows how long just wanting to hold my new little cousin! Actually, I probably just let myself in, no waiting on a doorstep for me!

I would also like to wish my friend April and her family sympathy and hope her Grandpa is at peace after passing away the other day.

Decisions, Decisions

After some thoughtful decision making, Xavier and I decided on Texas to win the National Championship this evening. We L-O-V-E watching College game day with Daddy so much that we decided to be a little like Lee Corso-instead of putting on the winning teams mascot mask, we chose the only thing we had, a t-shirt. (and yes we also have a Roll Tide shirt)

Finally! Another tooth popped through today. It was the bottom right lateral incisor (thanks to Xavier's baby book, I know which one that is) For those of you who do not know dentistry, he has his 2 bottom teeth-its the one next to the right bottom tooth.

It is a snow day here in lovely Indy and Xavier and I are still in our pajamas! He has an excuse as he is actually napping right now, but me, well it is just more comfortable.

And thanks to the snow I will be PAYING for it tomorrow with aching muscles. I have shoveled the drive not once, but TWICE today! I can already feel my back pain.

Okay, off for some hot tea and Food Network while X is still napping!

Drew was home for over a week this year so we had to make sure we celebrated my dad's big day!

Touchdown!!!

Xavier loves doing Touchdown! He does it even when there is no football on! I think he just likes some of the attention personally......when everyone laughs and claps for him he just keeps doing it! He will also hold up 1 finger for number 1. He is a pretty good clapper and sometimes I think he knows Japanese, he talks and talks and talks but nothing too coherent yet.

I am still waiting patiently for Ma-ma.

Xavier also loves stairs!! Since we don't have any at the moment, I think he gets so excited when we go places with stairs. Dustin gratefully put up the baby gate after chasing X up the stairs 10 times!
