Pumpkin Patch

Dad with the un-happy pumpkin picker!
Seriously, who doesn't like a pumpkin patch? Well X wanted to go back to the big $2 slide instead!

He was interested again though in taking some pics. This is his first shot.

Second shot of Daddy and Gisele. Well actually the third shot, the second one he cut Jake's head off. Pretty good aim since he doesn't even look through the viewfinder!

And mommy with X and G. Now G isn't happy. Go figure!
Needless to say we did the pumpkin patch in just over an hour! We rode the hay ride, looked at about 3 pumpkins and came home empty handed! I am just going to get some punkins at Meijer (a lot cheaper too!) It was such a BEAUTIFUL weekend, it was actually kind of hot at the patch. We all had pants on, or in G's case baby legs. Xavier really wanted to go back to the slide, so we went back for one last ride! It was actually quite fun and a pretty fast slide!
Maybe next year everyone will enjoy getting a pumpkin?!? :)

3 months old!

Where does the time go???
I love this age right now, she is so much fun and doing new things each week!
She "talks" a lot, likes to stare at her big brother doing crazy things. She rolled over for the first time last Wednesday. I kept putting on her tummy to see if she would do it again, thinking it might be a fluke. But it wasn't! She will roll. She almost made it all the way from back to front yesterday. Today she kept putting her feet under her belly and trying to scoot. Not sure if that was because she didn't want to be on her belly (not a HUGE fan of it) or if she was trying to go somewhere!
So far this week I have been getting both kids down around 8:30-8:45. Gisele sleeps until 4 or 5 and X, well he sleeps in his bed all night about every other night. The other nights I get a midnight to 3 visitor. It is payback I guess! I can remember being scare of something and going to my parents room. I would just stand by my dad's head and wait for him to wake up. Usually he awoke with a startled sound! I almost always hear X before he makes it to our room but on occasion he startles me. Usually, he just climbs right in between me and Jake and snuggles in! I know its a bad habit, but as the song goes, "It won't be like this for long!" So I haven't put much of a stop to it. These days he sleeps pretty straight, every now and then he kicks Jake in the face (startles him, because he didn't even know X was in the bed!)
X goes to "school" once a week. It is a nice window for me to get things done and I think X is enjoying being with other other kids and in a different environment. The first few weeks he was pretty shy and quiet but the teachers said he opened up last week. I just said watch out, when he opens all the way up, you might want some of that shyness back! :) He loves his little sister and he definitely still loves his Mama!  He loves daddy too, just not in the morning sometimes! :)
Already October, Christmas will be here before we know it! I have tried to start my shopping.....wasn't too successful this past weekend though!
Happy Birthday Uncle Josh (today) and pre Happy Birthday Ashley! (thursday)

Visit from Uncle Josh

Uncle Josh came to visit a couple weeks ago for the PU vs ND game. He took the kids to the Children's Museum. ( I went as well in case anyone got out of hand!)

Digging for Dinosaur bones!

Cheers!
(they love to do this, one day they will be slugging down Miller Lites together!)

Uncle Josh with all his nieces and nephews! It was a challenge getting all the kids on the couch. I mean seriously, how come kids don't like to get their pictures taken?? Okay one of them will the others won't. Next time someone else will another won't!
Anyway, thanks Uncle Josh for coming to visit and taking us to the Museum! See you at Thanksgiving :)

end of September.....

Lil G sitting in her bumbo. She likes most of the time, unless she is upset and ready to eat!

Smiling for the camera. And of course G is not looking!

Believe it or not......Xavier took this picture!

And this one! Oops!

And this one too! I may have a budding photographer on my hands. He likes to see the camera and I gave in this day to let him see it and try! He was pretty good!

One more try......

and finally a phone pic later that day with both looking at the camera!
