Saturday Morning

Diapy changing time all around!

Don't want to jinx myself but Xavier is actually LOOKING at the camera AND saying cheese some days! :)

Eyes are partially open. We only really see them for a few at feedings, diaper changes and for about an hour a day. Not that I am complaining that she sleeps because I AM NOT!!!!!

Xavier is such a good big brother. He likes to hug and kiss all over Gisele and I am sure he is almost immune to "be gentle," "don't do that," and "please don't touch her face."

My other good helper is daddy! He is smitten with his new little girl! And when he is home if he doesn't have her he is playing with X. He is helpful beyond words, thanks Babe! I love you! :)

I also have to thank GG and Grandi for helping me out this past week and in the weeks to come! 

And thank you to all the visitors who have brought us food or helped out in some form or fashion!

Heading Home!

Going home was a little different this time! It was nice and warm outside and we had a little excitement leaving the hospital!

My milk came in right at 5, so I fed her before she had her PKU test at 5:45 allowing us to leave.  When she came back from the test she had spit up a little bit of blood. We determined it was from my feeding her and she got a little "too excited" so to speak about eating.

Sweet kisses for Mommy! He finally warmed back up to me. We figured he knew the day I was in labor that something was going on. And in the hospital he just didn't like seeing me on the bed.

Gisele Frances Knott was born at 5:45, June 30, 2011. She weighed in at 8 pounds 14 ounces and 21.25 inches long. (she was 7 ounces more than Xavier at birth)
