Christmas 2008

Tank's new Sheep Dog, Curly Jr. from Grandie and Pops (Grandpa and Grandma Knott)

Tank's prized possession from Uncle Prez. I mean what kid doesn't want to sport a GNR
one-sie???

Jake and I on Christmas Eve, I am still feeling good at this point.
Christmas morning I woke up with either the Flu or Food Poisoning...it is still un-known what I had, but whatever it was, I thank the Lord it was only for 1 day. Jake was a very good nurse and he took excellent care of me and Tank that day, I could not have asked for anyone better!
Thank you Jakey:)
Needless to say Christmas morning with the Poelstra's and Knott's are somewhat of a blur and I never made it to see my Grandparents and extended family that day. Christmas is my favorite time of the year so I was somewhat dissapointed in myself but I couldn't seem to leave the bed once I laid down so...C'est la vie! I am already looking forward to next year because we will have Baby Knott and get to celebrate his first Christmas! But we got some GREAT stuff, so we THANK both our familes for all the wonderful gifts and love!
We are headed into week 35 this week! I have started to pack my hospital bag and Tank's diaper bag for his big arrival! There are still a few needed items to put in there, but I figure I have some time, hopefully!
We are anxious to meet and see our precious angel! I cannot believe that it is almost January and he is almost here! The time has just flown by. His room is almost finished just needs a few finishing touches. Aunt Ashley came over today to finish up the circles/dots and we just need to do a few more small ones and we are done painting. I should have waited for her in the first place to start them because I knew she would know exactly how to do them, but I got anxious and did a few on my own last weekend. Thankfully we have some touch up wall paint left! Aunt Ashley also is doing a one of a kind of painting for Tank's room, which will be ready to hang any day now.
Jake has planned a fun New Year's Eve for us and many of our friends this year. We have all rented out a bar in Broad Ripple (smoke free) which means I have plenty of places to sit down and relax until the ball drops and then I can head home.
I go back to the Doctor tomorrow so I will update again probaby on Wednesday!
I hope everyone had a very Merry Christmas!

Darcy, Love the nursery, I think it looks fabulous. I really can't wait to meet the little guy. He's going to be great.
