5 MONTHS!

Where has the time gone??

Here I am with my little-big boy! We did not have an actual 5 month check-up with Dr Jim but I did weigh him at breastfeeding support on Friday and he weighed in at 17.5 pounds! Unofficially he is also 27.5 inches long, I measured him with my clothing tape measure( not sure what it is actually called.....)

I sit in my bumbo seat and play catch. I love to catch and grab at my balloon too that Grandi brought over and plays. It is helping me with my hand eye coordination.
I don't know what it is about outside but if Xavier is crying or grumpy, I walk outside and he is pretty much immediately passified. Here he is sitting in a big boy chair watching his daddy mow the lawn. We walk almost every night right before putting on Pj's. Not sure how that will work in the middle of winter??? :)

Not much else is happening. I am supposed to be starting the weaning of breastfeeding during the day this week, but I have not started it yet......our schedule and doing things with friends has gotten in the way! I could start X on solid baby foods but I am going to wait a couple weeks. We were supposed to be going to Detroit this weekend so I was putting it off until after that trip, but now we are not heading there until August. Xavier and I might be taking our first plane ride together to Detroit. We will see how our trip down to Kentucky goes in a few weeks before we make that final decision.

Our friends Lacey and Dustin are expecting their second girl any day now. Lacey was "primed" this afternoon and 2-3 cm dialated so maybe we will meet miss Aubrey yet this week.

Aunt Bebe's Birthday is this week so we are meeting Grandi and Pops and her for dinner on Wednesday.

We are also anxiously awaiting cousin Chloe's arrival, probably in about 10 weeks plus or minus a couple days. I am going to say minus a couple days. She is due on the day of Kenny. Aka, the Kenny Chesney Concert here in Indy.

Hope everyone is having a great summer, it is going by way to fast! I think Jake said only 6, maybe 7 more Saturdays until the first College Game day of the season! Wow-football season already!
