Labor Day Weekend

So close to crawling......he took 2 little crawls both yesterday and today, so probably this week he will be in full crawl mode. Yay for him, maybe not so much for me! :)

Cousin Rob L-O-V-E-D playing with Xavier this weekend. Rob is my cousin Mel's fiance. I would guess after the wedding next year a little one won't be too far off in their future!

A true Purdue fan! Ashley came to the game 3 cm dilated among some other female/birthing things I won't talk about on the blog. Okay she didn't actually go into the hot game, but came to the tailgate! She had to wear her trademarked shirt, One in the Boiler! Little CW had his junior Boilermaker shirt on also. He is looking forward to wearing this outfit again in 2 weeks when Notre Dame comes to town! CW also ate like a tailgater, just munched on snacks all day and never really ate a full meal!
So far no baby Chloe though....she is still baking for a bit longer!

Xavier looks like he is stuffed in those pants! His Harry's shirt though, fits just fine!

Other than crawling, he really likes to stand up. You try to sit him down and he sort of stiffens his legs! Jake and I watched him pull himself up today on his music table thing. He also actually let go for about 4 seconds and then tumbled to the floor, which he didn't care for, but all was well! He decided he wasn't in the sleeping mood Saturday night around 8 when he was supposed to go to sleep! So I let him play until about 10 and then he crashed and he slept until 5:30am! Last night he was 9 to 2:30. So maybe we are making some progress. His drool is back in full force though so I am quite certain some more teeth are on the way! Xavier had his first over-night last Wednesday with Gigi and Opa. Jake and I went out for a nice anniversary dinner and had a great time! I wish the weather were nicer this weekend so we could get some last swimming of the season in, but no luck. Leave it to the wonderful Indiana weather.......we haven't had a Friday-Saturday-Sunday good weather combo since at least June! We did make it to the Claxton lake house yesterday for one last outing on the boat. It is so funny to watch Caden as he learns new things. He loved pushing the horn on the boat and his cousin loved doing it too!

Oh yeah, and Congrats to my friend Kiley, she is expecting #2 in March 2010 and my friend Anne who is expecting #1 in February 2010!
