Winter Weather

X has seen the snow and sort of been in, but this was his first "outing" in snow gear, boots, hats and gloves! He was concerned with his "glubs" at first, but once the fingers all got settle in the right slots he was fine. I think he thought since he was outside that he would check out if his 4-wheeler still worked. It did, but not in the snow!!
My little boy is changing everyday! He says something new everyday, or should I say repeats something new! We were watching Jerry McGuire the other day and he repeated "Show me the money!"
We have been to the museum a couple times lately and he loves the dinos as he calls them. There is a digging area where they have to wear goggles and he puts the goggles on (which I was so surprised) and then doesn't want to take them off the rest of the time at the museum. Thankfully I could return them to the front desk when we left!
We are sick and tired of this cold and snow! Just heard on the tube that we are expecting more of that nasty stuff Thursday. Yuck. Spring where are you?????
We are getting excited for Florida in March with all of my family, will be an interesting and fun week!
Xavier turns 2 in about 3 weeks, which is CRAZY!!!!!
He has been sleeping awesome! Except every other night or couple nights he pee's out his diaper. Sometimes its at 2:30 like last night and some times its not until 7:30 when he wakes up! But I am tired of changing the sheets! So I either need to buy some size 6 for night time or try another brand, even though I complain it hasn't made me go out and do either just yet!
I hope and think his 2 year molars are arriving. He keeps grinding his teeth and doing this under bite thing with his mouth. The grinding is hard to listen to!
We had a standoff last week for an hour in regards to eating dinner or getting a popsicle. Let's just say after that hour he got the dang popsicle. I couldn't take it anymore! I was hoping the "terrible two's" were a myth, but I believe we are entering that phase!
With that being said though, Jake and I both lately have been a lot less go with the flow, if you will and irritated when he does things we don't want or like him to do! Our very very good and dear friends watch everyday as their baby girl fights for her life in the ICU. It is hard to watch the roller coaster of a ride they are on right now, but every day that we get good news, it makes the fight all the more incredible! So keeping fighting Aubrey, we know you can do it! We cherish everyday we get to spend with Xavier and each other! And only about 23 more weeks until Baby #2 arrives!! I entered the second tri-mester so I am not as tired as I used to be, which is nice! I have started to get antsy about getting things done. I don't know what those things are exactly but I know with my preggo brain that there are things to do I just don't remember them all at the right times when I can do them!
That's it for now!
Oh yeah its late, but Congrats to my dear friend Jessica and family on little Molly's arrival about 3 weeks ago!!!
