I stripped Gisele because she yakked and drooled all over her outfit, Xavier decided he didn't need clothes either! So I decided we needed a picture!
Poor G's face is red and dry from all her drooling.....the bumbo only makes that and yakking worse! Its like sitting in it makes everything come out!
Xavier of course wanted a turn in the bumbo (can't see it)
Miss G eating green beans which she seemed to like! So far just cereal, sweet potatoes and green beans have been tried. Wouldn't say she is a huge fan of the cereal but she likes food!
I am trying my hand at making my own baby food. Only made the sweet potatoes so far, I just got out some beans that my cousin had given me. I am trying some Avocado this week. That is one I never gave to X but I know tons of people who fed their babies avocado and they loved it!
Miss G is changing daily! She rolls over each way but doesn't really have the desire to do any sort of constant rolling. Just from one side to the other and sometimes back. She is much better on her tummy than she used to be, she is already trying to go places! She is sooo close to sitting on her own but I think she wants to stand too so she will flip out her legs which topples her over! She is a pretty strong little girl! She loves to do raspberries and still just babbles. She also loves to watch her big brother! Tonight I bathed them together which was a little hard since she can't/won't sit all the way but he was splashing her and squirting her and she didn't really seem to mind!
Xavier is turning into a big boy! Has yet to really want to go potty on the potty but that will come, I am not really in a super rush for that anyway! He goes to "school" one day a week and seems to really like it! He loves Miss Kara and Linda and his buddy Conrad. He keeps saying he has a friend Max in class but there is no Max in his class.......so not sure what exactly that is about yet! His itchy skin is clearing up some, all except his head. We are on new shampoo #20 to try! I have been trying to keep the rest of his skin hydrated but he can't seem to stop itching his head. He still wakes up once a night and will either just walk in and climb into bed with us or he cries for me. This wouldn't be too big of a deal if Gisele was sleeping through the night but she decided at 4 months to start waking up every 3 hours like a newborn! She did however, pop her 2 bottom central incisors so that could be the cause......and all her drooling leads one to believe that there may be some more teeth trying to pop through. We shall see.
All in all other than a few colds here and there passed back and forth and some sleepless nights we are doing pretty well! Its hard to believe it is Christmas already and half a year has gone by since Gisele arrived!
Lots of congratulations to my bestie April who is expecting a baby boy in April. Longtime friend and neighbor Ashley and her husband Jon just had Elizabeth Kay, born last Thursday!
I want to wish miss Aubree Ray a very special Happy Re-Birthday! Its been one year since a young man gave her a second chance at life.
We are continuing to keep her and ALL the other kids we know at Riley in our thoughts and prayers, especially a new little girl Sophie that we know.
Will be posting lots more pictures this month for sure! Everyone stay safe and stay warm!
