I can't believe....

That the Fall is already upon us! That football season starts this weekend! That Xavier will be 7 months old in 2 weeks!
I can believe though that the Knott family heads to sunny Florida in a little over 5 weeks!
Hoo-ray!
And a BIG HOO-RAY for my cousin Mel and her new fiance Rob!!! He proposed last night and she said yes! They already have a date set, 10-2-10! (I think someone was thinking ahead.....)

Last night Xavier didn't really want to go to sleep at bed-time. He took an 1.5 hour nap for Gigi in the morning and just a snap (short nap) in the afternoon so I thought for sure he would go to sleep super fast. No dice. Here he is just wanting to play at 9pm last night. The night before he woke up every 2 hours so you would think that the kid would have been tired. He get's his need for excitement honestly though, Thanks Daddy! :)
Xavier loves playing with all his toys!

He tries to pull himself with whatever is nearby, the exer-saucer, the music table, my leg...this kid is going to be on the move!

Cousin Caden comes over on Tuesdays with Aunt Ash, while Gigi is babysitting. Xavier loves to just watch him play and sometimes gets in on the action. Caden is growing up so fast too, he looks like a 5 year old!

All in all, everything is great in the Knott household. Except for Xavier not sleeping through the night (we thought we had him...but spoke too soon!) and just not wanting to fall asleep for naps, everything else is great! Although he has been asleep right now for 2 hours. We of course were going to go meet Daddy though at the gym and go for an evening swim. That is how it usually works! If I hope he takes a nice nap so I can get things done, he doesnt. If I make plans to go somewhere or do something, he takes a long nap! If anyone has any sleep suggestions, other than crying it out, let me know! I have tried music, the Ferber method (just a little) and rocking! Pretty much the only way he falls asleep for naps is by me bouncing him and singing to him! And the car! I can't forget that he still falls asleep in the car. Sometimes I can get him out without waking him and sometimes he wakes up as soon as I pick up the carrier out of the car.
Xavier doesn't miss any meals. We are going to try out some 2nd foods by Gerber this weekend, see how he likes Turkey gravy and something. Yum!

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of Miss Chloe! We will find out more tomorrow hopefully on whether Ashley is going to be induced or waits it out!

Here is Ashley at 36 weeks with Caden

Here is Ashley this week, at 36 weeks with Chloe. Chloe is a little more basketball shape that CW was......but we just can't wait until she makes her debut shortly!

Everyone have a great weekend!
