It won't be too long before my little man is on the move. He can get up on all fours and rock a little. He does 360's on his belly and rolls from one place to the other! As soon as he figures out he can make his arms and legs work together.....I am in trouble! My coffee table behind Xavier is being taken to my parents garage this weekend!
Xavier turned 6 months last week! I know, already! Where does the time go? He weighed in at 18 pounds, 14 ounces and 28.5 inches long.
Saturday morning we got to visit with my friends Rachel and Beth who both live in the Detroit area and they got to meet Xavier. Beth brought her beautiful new son Henry and of course her sweet husband Chris.
If we are outside, Xavier is a happy boy!
Overall we had a great trip. The first night Xavier slept pretty well in his play-yard. However, Saturday night was a different story....he woke up just about every hour all night long. This was because he had developed his first cold. It is so hard because there really is nothing you can do but hold and soothe him.
Xavier is still waking up once or twice a night these days. Dr Jim says to just let him cry.....I haven't listened to him yet. He is getting better about taking some daytime naps though, he takes a mid-morning nap and usually takes a 2-3 hour nap in the early afternoon.
He loves to be outside! So far he is still enjoying falling asleep in his car seat too! He has almost out-grown the infant seat though, his feet are just about to the edge and his head looks huge in there.
