McDonald Family Reunion

Last weekend we went down to Rough River State Park in Kentucky for Jake's mom's family reunion. The Lake was beautiful

We have the oldest McDonald and the youngest McDonald family member. Well technically Xavier is not the youngest, cousin Graham is by 11 days but Graham didn't show up until Saturday, so for an evening X was the youngest!

Last night we saw our good friends Jessica and Cooper! They were in town visiting her brother and family. We also got to see PJ and Kyle's cute little girl Campbell.
Xavier is pretty much sitting up on his own and he has been eating veggies for a couple weeks. I decided to try out all the veggies first before introducting fruits, but fruits are next week! He has also found his lungs and by that I mean the higher pitched scream he likes to do every now and then! He has been "talking" forever it seems, but now all of a sudden he enjoys a good scream! It was so cute to see him and Cooper "talking" to each other last night!
Xavier had been going to bed at 7:30 every night for a couple weeks but the last two nights he has decided he wants to stay up later! He still wants to wake up around 6:30-7 though to start the day-so no more sleeping in for mommy........although he is napping right now. But I just have to many things to do! Gigi, Xavier and I are going to see Uncle Prez tomorrow up in Detroit-Rock City. We also get to see my good friends Beth and her little guy Henry and my lil-sis Rachel!
